Canadian start-up Growcer secures $3m to fuel brand expansion

Growcer, a Canadian start-up specialising in modular vertical farms that enable year-round food production, has secured $3 million to fuel brand expansion.

The round was led by Modern Niagara, Jeff Westeinde and Jeff York.

Growcer plans to use the capital to expand its growth, extend its market presence into new regions, such as the northeast US, and broaden its product line beyond leafy greens and modular systems.
