Harvest Today and NuLeaf Farms forge strategic partnership

Harvest Today, and NuLeaf Farms have joined forces to offer Canadians cutting-edge vertical farming technology. The partnership aims to address global food security challenges by providing an efficient and scalable solution for indoor farming.

A Marriage of Technologies

NuLeaf Farms brings to the table its proprietary growing system, which uses considerably less water and labor than traditional indoor farming methods. On the other hand, Harvest Today has developed a unique wall design that minimizes water usage and pump time. The fusion of these two technologies is expected to create a “Canadian recipe for success,” as both companies put it.

A Game-Changing Collaboration

William Aitken, the owner of Harvest Today Canada, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership: “Pairing up with Ryan and his team at NuLeaf Farms has been a no-brainer. NuLeaf Farm is the simplest, most refined farm we have ever entered. Our distributors are thrilled about the partnership. The ability to integrate NuLeaf technology with our growing systems is monumental for Canadians. This merger will be a game-changer for the global indoor vertical farming industry.”

Addressing the Scalability Challenge

One of the most significant hurdles in the vertical farming industry has been scalability. Traditional systems often use standard racking or cylindrical water cones, limiting growth to vertical expansion and lacking versatility. However, Harvest Wall and NuLeaf Farms’ applications can be scaled to fit any size, from 500 sq ft to 50,000 sq ft. The partnership promises to deliver turnkey operations within months, provided a suitable building is available.
