Texas House votes to expand access to medical cannabis under new bill

Texas House members approved legislation Monday that will implement the most significant reforms to Texas' Compassionate Use Program—which allows Texans who participate to use cannabis legally for medical purposes. 

Heather Fazio, director of Texas Cannabis Policy Center, said this comprehensive program expansion has been "a long time coming."
