Pick up your vegetable at Israeli urban vertical farms

NETANYA, Israel - Many portable urban "vertical farms" installed by Israeli agriculture tech company Vertical Field appeared next to supermarkets, restaurants, and shopping malls around the country.

At such "farms," vegetables can grow vertically on the walls of their containers, which increases growth efficiency, minimizes water consumption, and reduces the use of excessive soil.

The products, such as lettuce, basil, parsley, kale, and mint, can be directly harvested by clients, who can also take them back home with the bedding soil to further plant.
