This collaboration highlights how modern farming techniques can empower prisoners while contributing to food security in Tarakan City.

From Prison to Produce: Hydroponic Training for Inmates

Under the guidance of the prison’s Work Activity Section (Seksi Kegiatan Kerja), inmates are trained in hydroponic farming, cultivating high-demand crops like pakcoy, mustard greens, and other leafy vegetables in a controlled greenhouse environment.
