After a 2 year pause due to COVID-19, Jungle Talks is partnering again with leading suppliers of knowledge and technology from the Netherlands in organizing the Pro Manager Mastercourse Floriculture from 24 January to February 4, 2022. In addition, Jungle Talks teams up with AIPH in organizing the ‘Young International Grower of the Year Award’ during the IPM in Essen. The Mastercourse serves therefore as the pre-selection for this brand new award.

That selection process for the Mastercourse starts today! We’re looking for future floricultural leaders between 25-40 years old from around the globe, with a minimum of 5 years working experience in a leading position at a future proof producer of ornamentals. Selected candidates can, if interested, participate in the selection process of the Young International Grower of the Year.

The Pro Manager Mastercourse partners with Koppert Biological Systems, Dümmen Orange, Ridder, Hortilux Schrèder, Logiqs, Horticoop, Lets Grow, HortiXS, Van Krimpen and Van der Valk Systems.

These partnerships guarantee a high level visit program and give participants ample opportunity to network at CEO level with horticultural leaders from the Netherlands. During the course, participants will work out their own vision on the future of florticulture and the role of their own company. Following the visits, meetings, inspirational sessions and feedback of peers and leading floricultural CEO’s, they return to their own country and company, ready to make a difference.

Floricultural managers from around the globe are welcome to apply before October 22. Your application is followed by a selection procedure. Early November, 15 managers are selected to be part of the upcoming Mastercourse. If selected, participation to the Pro Manager Master Course costs 1.250 Euro. This includes all meals, entrance fees, professional guidance and transport during the Mastercourse. In addition, you pay for your own travel costs and lodging. More information on the program can be downloaded here, including the interactive registration on the final page.To get a first impression, check out this short video that was made following the successful 2019 edition.
