Windset will be sending weekly shipments of fresh produce to CityReach Care Society.

Windset Farms, who has partnered with Vancouver food bank CityReach Care Society since 2010, has announced weekly shipments of fresh, greenhouse-grown produce to the foodbank.

Windset Farms began donating produce to CityReach 13 years ago. What started as modest weekly contributions has "evolved into a foundational partnership for CityReach’s Food For Families program." Fresh produce constitutes a significant portion of the hampers, providing families with nutritious, healthy food to support physical and mental well-being. The charity administers multiple programs supporting our communities, with Food For Families being the largest. This initiative rescues surplus food, including donations from businesses like Windset Farms. Recipients are supplied with a weekly 25lb hamper of produce, dairy, bread, and protein to 3,000 people, saving families approximately $400 monthly that can be reallocated to vital living expenses.
