Surna secures contract with Farm.One

Surna Cultivation Technologies LLC (NASDAQ:CEAD) has recently secured a contract with Farm. One, a luxury greens producer, to provide environmental control equipment for their New York-based vertical farming facility. The New York based facility recently reopened months after announcing its closure after securing additional capital to continue its operations.

According to Jon Kozlowski, Surna’s Vice President of Sales, “There is an increasing demand for high-quality farm-to-table produce in urban markets. Farm. One meets this demand by growing leafy greens, specialty herbs, edible flowers, and microgreens exclusively for local markets. As the provider of their crucial environment solutions, Surna is responsible for helping to bring their vision to life by designing a cultivation facility that meets the special needs of these delicate crops.”

“We provide top-notch, premium greens to high-end local restaurants and directly to consumers through our membership program,” said Derek Pitts, CEO of Farm.One. “To achieve this, we need a conducive environment for our plants to thrive, yield daily, and be pesticide-free. Surna’s years of experience in indoor cultivation are priceless. We’re thrilled to partner with Surna in our next growth phase and foster a long-lasting collaboration with their team.”
