Plant Products appoints Gregor Hoffmann as GM of Agrotech Austria

Founded in 1998 and acquired by Biobest Group (now BioFirst Group) in 2023, Agrotech has long been a trusted provider of horticultural and crop protection solutions for Austrian growers. For more than a decade, the company has served as the exclusive distributor for Biobest products in Austria, with a strong presence in the high-tech greenhouse sector. 

Gregor Hoffmann brings over two decades of experience in agriculture and horticulture, including eight years at Rijk Zwaan and recent years as an independent consultant. His deep industry knowledge, strategic mindset, and strong ties within Central and Eastern Europe position him well to lead Agrotech into its next phase of growth.

The company also extends its heartfelt appreciation to Roman Kölbl, whose vision, commitment, and leadership have been instrumental in building Agrotech’s strong market position. His continued involvement will ensure a smooth transition and preserve the company’s customer-centric culture.
