Strategic P'ship between Penang and Enza Zaden

The Executive Council of Penang went on a working visit to the Netherlands from the 15th of April until the 19th of April. The visit to the Netherlands has been a fruitful one. With the highlight of the signing of Notes of Strategic Partnership between Penang and Enza Zaden, a major producer of seeds in the Netherlands, on the 19th of April.

The cooperation note was signed by Penang State Agriculture Director, Mohd Muhaimin Bin Ibrahim and the Enza Zaden Regional Director of Southeast Asia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Hong Kong and Taiwan, Mr. Pankaj Malik. The signing took place at Enza Zaden’s Headquarters in Enkhuizen, the Netherlands.

With this cooperation Penang will become the pioneer of supplying and producing seeds in the region. To accomplish this Penang has agreed to provide Enza Zaden with potential farmers in this field. This collaboration will mark a new achievement for Penang and will benefit Enza Zaden at the same time. A real win-win!
